**Salary**:£27,396 to £30,619 per annum, increasing to £27,979 to £31,396 per annum from 1st August 2023.**

**The role**

Working alongside academic colleagues, the post-holder will support the design and delivery of practical workshops, and provide tailored support to researchers with their study setup, recruitment and analysis. The post-holder will also oversee the day-to-day running of the Psychology facilities, which includes the management of a booking system, undertaking first-line maintenance of equipment, and ensuring safe operating procedures are in place.

**The team**

The post-holder will be part of the university’s Specialist Technical Team who are proud signatories of the Technician Commitment, working towards ensuring visibility, recognition, career development and sustainability of technical skills.

Required skills and experience

Applicants will have a degree in Psychology or substantial practical experience in a related field. We are looking for a proactive individual, with highly competent technical skills and an ability to work well both autonomously and collaboratively. Programming skills, knowledge of advanced statistical analysis techniques, and/or experience using EEG would be desirable.
