The Client

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a *female Support Worker, to work with a very special 5-year-old girl and her family, to share in having lots of fun and laughter, at the child’s home.

Our client has physical, sensory and cognitive challenges. She is blind, with hearing loss, speech and language needs, with global developmental delay. She is dependent on having her personal care needs met, support and encouragement throughout her mealtimes, and priority given to ensuring the same routines, verbal prompts and interventions are consistent. She is mobile but feels more confident in familiar surroundings. Home is her safe space and the place where she can play, have fun and create memories.

The client loves music, singing, sensory play, water and rebound activities. She is talented in her ability to listen and respond to music, she communicates through singing, by associating songs with certain activities. She learns through play, having lots of cuddles and being supported by kind and nurturing adults. She loves riding a pony, going swimming and having access to a trampoline.

Successful DBS Disclosure and referencing is required.

Hours and Pay Rates

**Permanent Contract with weekly contracted Hours anticipated to be**:
Term Time Hours Monday to Friday (07.30- 09.30 and 14.30- 18.30) £18.00 per hour

Saturday and Sunday (09.00-17.00): £20.00 per hour

School holidays
- regular work available.

Bank Holidays
- pay rate at double time (x 2.0)
