Monday - Friday 8.30 - 3.30 pm

£80.89 - £98.89 per day PAYE

Tradewind are working in close partnership with an Ofsted-rated "Good" Alternative Provision in Blackpool. The school provides a safe and nurturing environment for pupils aged 11 to 16 who face various challenges, including Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), and behavioural difficulties.

As a Youth Worker, you will play a pivotal role in the lives of the pupils, working on a 1-2-1 and group basis to provide tailored support, guidance, and encouragement. You will be instrumental in fostering positive relationships, assisting students in overcoming barriers, and inspiring them to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

- Engage with students on a 1-2-1 and group basis, offering guidance and emotional support.
- Plan and implement creative activities and workshops to promote personal development.
- Collaborate with teachers, counsellors, and support staff to create comprehensive support plans.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, where every student feels valued and respected.
- Encourage pupils to develop essential life skills and build self-confidence.

**Requirements**:

- Experience in working with young people in an educational or community setting.
- A genuine passion for supporting pupils with SEMH, ASC, and behavioural needs.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong rapport with young individuals.
- An adaptable and patient approach to working with diverse student needs.
- Flexibility and a proactive attitude towards problem-solving.
