Electrical Improver/mate

Due to our continued growth, Rigby Electrical are looking to recruit an Improver Electrician.

This role would suit an apprentice who is part-qualified, with previous site experience.

Your responsibilities will be:

- To carry out electrical installations alongside lead electrician
- To assist with day-to-day duties on site.
- To assist the electricians in completing given tasks.
- To carry out any reasonable task requested within the scope of the day to day running of the site.
- To follow all safe working practices.
- Provide exemplary service to internal and external customers/clients.
- Be flexible within the broad remit of the post.
- Take direction and instruction on priorities from line management, which may vary from time to time.
- Carry out any other reasonable projects, tasks, or duties to support the business as directed by line management.
- Ensure all operational procedures, safe working practices and Health and Safety procedures are adhered to.

Types of work to be undertaken include Power Supplies, Unistrut, Trunking Installation, Panel termination, Test and inspections, machinery relocations. New power distribution.

- ECS Card
- NVQ Electrical Qualifications
- City & Guilds / NVQ Equivalent

**Hours**:
08:00am - 17:00 - Monday to Friday

Overtime is available

Weekend work may be required occasionally

**Salary**:
£18,000 - £25,000 - dependant on experience.

Due to the nature of the sites we work with DBS checks will be completed.
