**Job Summary**

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**:

- The key duties of this post are to:_
- be a key part of administration team promoting a high standard of care to company clients and professionals.
- secure new packages of care via the local authority’s procurement system.
- match local service users time scales with their expectations.
- set up new packages of care and implement changing care needs as issued via the authority’s administration system.
- input new packages into company I.T. system.
- take responsibility for the company on-call telephone on a rota basis ensuring out of hours problems and emergencies are dealt efficiently.
- provide emergency support to staff and clients occasionally responding in person if required.
- coordinate and collate care staff rosters on as weekly basis.
- manage, plan and co-ordinate care staff as a continuous process ensuring their work patterns provide best match of skill and time available to clients.
- ensure staff receive a copy of rosters.
- ensure privacy and confidentiality of client and company information.
- provide ad-hoc information to managers and supervisors when required.

**Required Education, Skills and Qualifications**

We are looking for someone who has:

- Full UK driving licence
- Empathy, a caring nature, is supportive with a good humour, friendly, and flexible.
- Must have IT and administration skills
- Knowledge and understanding of the care and support needs of individual service users
- Relationship building
- Team worker
- Able to multi task and prioritise workload effectively
- Excellent telephone manner
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous experience of the care industry is essential, and flexibility to cover care shifts when required.
