Contract Administrator

Do you thrive working under pressure in a fast-paced environment? Are you exceptionally well organised with strong communication skills? Working closely with the Contracts Manager you will be responsible for overseeing all administrative aspects of allocated construction projects.
This is a small company that has steadily expanded and operates across a wide variety of sectors, proudly retaining a family business ethos centring on being large enough to deliver but small enough to care and constantly striving to adopt new methods and technologies.
In return you will get 22 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays (increasing with long service), Christmas shutdown, Company Nest Pension and Employee Assist Program. **Hybrid - potential for 1 day a week at home.**
**Duties & Responsibilities of the Contract Administrator**:
- Collaborate & support the Contracts Manager on budgeting, scheduling, and the Health and Safety of various projects running simultaneously together.
- Daily monitoring and updating of project progress using the CRM system.
- Ordering supplier materials for site, securing the best price, quality, and lead times.
- Organise and order site welfare, safety, and necessary equipment ready for the commencement of work.
- Ensuring all the relevant documentation / insurance is present and added to the project file.
- To provide administrative support to the Contracts Manger to ensure that permits & permissions are applied for in sufficient time to the project starting.
- Maintain excellent communication with stakeholders.
**What you will need to succeed as Contract Administrator**:
- Solid administrative background, ideally working in contracts or project administration.
- Proven background working in a fast-paced changing environment.
- Exceptional organisational skills and efficiency.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
- Willingness to learn and contribute to the team.
- Knowledge of the building industry and supplies preferred but not essential.
