Seeking an exceptional Security Supervisor to join our team, ensuring safety and security in a healthcare environment. You will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure atmosphere for patients, staff, visitors, and contractors within our esteemed hospital premises and car parks.

As the Security Supervisor, you will work according to Security Industry Authority (SIA) guidelines and our company and Trust specifications, providing a high-quality security service. Your primary objective is to ensure that all individuals within our facilities feel safe and protected.

Overseeing the implementation of SIA guidelines and company and Trust specifications, you will guarantee a top-notch security service. By offering clear direction, guidance, and support to our security team, you will foster professionalism and productivity.

Maintaining an efficient security service is vital. You will respond promptly to service needs and constantly seek opportunities for improving productivity and service quality. Your proactive approach will help identify and address potential security issues in a timely manner.

Strict compliance with health, safety, security, and Company and Trust procedures is a must. Your commitment to adhering to these protocols contributes to the overall safety and well-being of everyone on our premises.

As a Security Supervisor, you may encounter sensitive circumstances. Your professionalism, empathy, and discretion are essential in handling such situations with sensitivity and maintaining confidentiality.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Complete accurate records for company systems including, sickness procedures, quality monitoring (which may include speaking to patients and visitors), training, activity lists and staff performance monitoring
- Liaise with operative staff under your control by way of discussions and regular team meetings. i.e. Performance Reviews, Job Chats, Return to Work discussions and accident and other investigations
- The effective supervision, training, motivation, discipline, safety and general welfare of staff under your control
- Organise and allocate staff under your control to effectively carry out the security services within your area of responsibility. Ensure that the work schedule and quality standards are adhered to in line with the specification
- Order, control, monitor and issue relevant uniform, equipment, materials and other goods required by the staff under your control to carry out their duties effectively
- Organise and deliver job related training to meet the needs of new and existing staff to ensure they are adequately trained to carry out their duties in all areas, in accordance with the Training Plan

**Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications**
- Previous supervisory experience is essential
- SIA Licensing
- SIA CCTV License
