We have an exciting opening for a Deputy Head of Healthcare to join our Healthcare team at HMP Belmarsh, a category A Prison located in Thamesmead, Southeast London.

In this role you will have the opportunity to develop as a healthcare leader within a unique setting.

**Hours**

Monday to Friday - 8:00 - 16:00 / 09:00 - 17:00

**Salary**

This position is full time, you’ll receive an annual salary up £63,000 per annum - depending on experience.

**What you'll be doing**:
As a Deputy Head of Healthcare your responsibilities will vary. You will:

- be responsible for the effective day-to-day operational management of all clinical services across the prison
- manage all service level agreements, ensuring performance-monitoring standards are adhered to and the highest standards of care are maintained
- lead on Quality Assurance and Governance processes within HMP Belmarsh
- deputise for the Head of Healthcare in their absence and support them across the range of their duties.

**Qualifications& Experiences required**
- Degree or appropriate equivalent level of experience or clinical qualification
- Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams
- Experience of working in CQC or equivalent registered services such as HMIP
- Experience of client management or meeting commissioner expectations

Although not essential ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital or prison environment.
