**About the Job**

Relationships mean everything to us, and this one is particularly special. You’ll have an important part to play in as Admin Team Leader leading a team of 9 colleagues, providing administrative support to a logistic business servicing a high end automotive company to deliver world class customer service.

As Admin Team Leader you will lead, manage, coach, motivate and engage your team, co-ordinating activities to achieve business goals through effective process management, continuous improvement, quality and a focus on self-development.

As part of your key responsibilities you’ll:

- Review and improve the operating environment through establishing and maintaining high standards of housekeeping
- Ensure health and safety standards are achieved on an ongoing basis and actively promote individual responsibility for health and safety
- Proactively use problem solving techniques to explore and promote any initiatives that support driving costs down
- Review area reporting and identify opportunities to improve off target measures
- Monitor progress against Key Performance Indicators and costs against budget to ensure targets are reached
- Give feedback to the team, encouraging good performance and having difficult conversations where necessary
- Promote flexibility through skills training and personal development to meet future and current team capability targets
- Monitor team absence and performance, taking action where necessary. Drive absence management, investigation and capability and performance review meetings
- Work with appropriate parties to provide solutions to team issues taking account of the appropriate policies and ethical practice
