We are looking for Support Workers who care about making every moment matter for the people we support in our supported living service.

**Job title**: Support Worker

**Hours**:Part time, 22 hours per week predominately working night shifts (2 shifts per week)

**Rate of pay**:£11.00 per hour

**About our service**

We are located on the outskirts of Llandybie, an 8-bedroom property with 8 individual flats, tailored to the needs of the people we support. Providing support to those with learning disabilities, autism and other complex needs including challenging behaviour.

Are you enthusiastic, compassionate and committed to supporting people in a way which respects their dignity?

You will need to be adaptable and flexible with excellent communication skills and able to work as part of our team.

Experience of challenging behaviour and/or learning disabilities is preferred but all training will be provided.

**The role**
- To provide practical assistance and emotional support to empower the people we support to achieve their goals and aspirations, respecting everyone’s individuality and enabling them to make appropriate choices to live the life they wish, in line with their individual support plans.
- Promote the health, well-being, physical, emotional, cultural and spiritual beliefs of the people we support and ensure they are met in an inclusive way.
- General housekeeping duties that can include shopping, domestic duties as well as elements of personal care.
- As part of the role, you will need to be able to complete a range of records and documents.
