IT Logistics Coordinator

The IT Logistics Coordinator is responsible for the planning, purchasing and stock control of IT equipment such as laptops, desktops, Macs, mobiles and associated peripherals ensuring that IT equipment is readily available, and that all stock issues are dealt with accordingly. The IT Logistics Coordinator will ensure that the University is getting value for money from our suppliers and that the service received is of the appropriate standard to support and meet the needs of the University.

This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent organizational skills and a confident communicator with knowledge of procurement processes and supplier management skills.

Due to the nature of this role, a significant proportion of time will be spent on the university campuses.

**The Person**:
**Background and Experience Required**:
Excellent organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail.

Experience of overseeing the end-to-end supply chain.

Ability to make decisions and recommend, develop and implement solutions that address technical and business challenges.

Ability to initiate and deliver operational and process improvement changes which deliver sustainable business benefits, within budget, to quality standards and within specified timescales.

Excellent interpersonal skills to deal with customer requests and resolve any issues raised by them.

**Directorate/Function**:
Information and Technology Services provides and supports digital services and facilities for students and staff to enable learning, teaching, research and administration. Our key functions are to innovate, implement and support an extensive range of digital services across the University to assist our community access and process information to achieve their goals.

In addition to making a valuable contribution to sustainability across the University, our staff share a high customer service ethic and commitment to continuous improvement.

This is a full time, permanent position with a starting salary of £37,646 per annum.
