**Contract information**:
**Part time**:

- 22 hrs - 30 hrs a week, full time

**Salary**:

- £23,725

**Job description**

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced sports coach to join our team to support our expanding Primary Curriculum and OSH Coaching Programme. We are looking to appoint a full time sports coach who has previous experience of delivering Primary Physical Education lessons on a regular basis.

**Main Purpose of the post**:

- To deliver high quality curriculum Physical Education lessons in contracted primary schools for PPA delivery.
- To motivate and engage primary pupils to become physically active.
- To deliver fun, engaging physical activities at lunchtime and structured after school clubs.
- To be a lead member of staff for holiday camps (wage uplift when ‘leading’)
- To deliver workshops to different audiences as part of the membership offer.

**Qualifications and experience**

**Essential**:

- Level 2 Coaching qualification in at least one sport
- Level 3 PE / 4 School Sport Apprenticeship or relevant degree
- Experience within an education setting (minimum 2 years)
- Knowledge of the Primary Curriculum and an understanding of teaching and learning
- Excellent safeguarding knowledge and a track record of building relationships with students and managing behaviour effectively.
- Experience of coaching primary age pupils on a regular basis (min 2 years)

**Desirable**
- Experience of leading holiday camp sessions
- Experience of delivering dance
- Full driving licence and access to a vehicle to drive to various locations

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £23,725.00 per year
