Freelance Curriculum Designer

We are looking for inspiring and creative freelance curriculum designers with experience in designing schemes of work and writing session plans for teenagers.
**Responsibilities**:
- Design and develop innovative and effective curricula for three themes (Personal Development, Future World of Work & Positive Impacts on Communities) - comprehensive overview will be provided prior to interview
- Research and suggest new learning methods and technologies, staying abreast of current trends and best practices
- Lead the preparation of detailed session plans and activities to support each session
- Research, evaluate, and recommend platforms, resources, and multimedia materials
- Collaborate with Head of Youth Programmes to review course material for accuracy and progress
Aims and desired outcomes:
- Bespoke schemes of work to include detailed lesson plans with learning outcomes, timings, success criteria & resources that are appropriate for students in Key Stage 5.
- Ensure that schemes of work and resources promote the Skill Builder Framework and Project-Based Learning objectives.
- Inspire, equip and upskill young people to become world-ready and work-ready
- Creating 2-3 topic session plans of each theme
- 1-1.5 hour session plans for each topic.

Qualifications, Education and Work Rights
✔ Be educated to degree level (or hold a minimum of 3 years’ experience in developing curriculums in education or youth programmes such as NCS, International Junior Summer Schools, Adventure holidays or similar) - E
✔ Possess ‘Right to work in UK’ approval - E
Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
✔ Experience within Key stage 5 curriculum development - D
✔ Experience of successfully working with diverse key stakeholders - D
✔ Excellent organisational skills - E
✔ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - E
