**Role: Listening & Engagement Manager**

**Function: HR**

**Location**:Dunstable, we have a fantastic hybrid working environment, you’ll need to be in the office at least 2 days per week but the rest of your week can be flexible to what works best for you and your role

**Package**: £57,000 - 68,000 plus car allowance, 30% bonus, pension and healthcare.

We do this through continual engagement with our teams, understanding what’s important to them and creating on ongoing plan to ensure the themes we hear are actioned.

You will be running listening sessions, designing and sharing engagement surveys, liaising with employee representatives and creating new, and different, opportunities to engage with our people to ensure that their voice is heard in our business.

**Inside the role**:

- Design the listening program for Whitbread, ensuring that it’s aligned to strategy and commercial priorities.
- Ensure that we are using best in class approach to our listening, whilst also considering our internal audience to ensure they feel engaged and empowered.
- Manage the delivery of the listening programmes, project management of all our employee forums ensuring a consistent drum beat of conversation throughout the year.
- Engage with stakeholders to ensure that the listening plan is delivered, strong influencing skills will be a must, whilst also considering compliance and protection of data.
- Create reports and insight packs to support the leadership teams understanding of the mood and thoughts of the business.
- Continual engagement with our employee audience to play back actions from our listening, highlighting a cycle of ‘you said, we did’ to build ongoing trust in our program and with our senior leaders.

**We’re open to you**:

- You’ll be confident managing stakeholders from across the business, including the Chief People Officer, HR Leadership team, Operations leadership team, Our Voice reps and the broader employee base.
- You will understand employee research design, both quantitative and qualitative; you’ll always be thinking about how we can do things better.
- Bringing data to life will be key to this role; you’ll need to tell the story through data and visual representation.
- Experience managing projects and driving results through stakeholder management, engagement and using your confidence and communication skills.
- It would be great if you have experience using all Microsoft tools and some exposure to survey tools; experience of data visualisation tools like Power BI and Tableau also helpful but not essential.
