To provide support in respect of property owned or managed by the Bingham Library Trust Ltd (BLT) and Cirencester Town Council (CTC) including condition surveys, building repairs and maintenance, security, energy and utilities, cleaning and waste collection arrangements. To provide facilities support in ensuring room set up for all BLT and CTC venues including provision of equipment and opening and closing and liaison in respect of any refreshments provided. To carry out health and safety inspections of the facilities and to ensure that the appropriate maintenance regimes, fire safety, evacuations, risk assessments and notices are in place.

Key Outputs:
1. To liaise with and be the main point of contact for tenants of BLT and CTC. (FO)
2. To carry out regular preventative and remedial building inspections identifying maintenance works and to assist with overseeing works where necessary. (FO)
3. Organise condition surveys, arrange costings/quotations as required, oversee works. (FO)
4. To ensure that appropriate security arrangements are in place for BLT and CTC properties. (FO)
5. To respond to facilities related queries relating to BLT and CTC buildings and car parking. (C)
6. To be responsible for testing relevant alarm equipment and the security of BLT and CTC buildings. (FO)
7. To submit meter readings and maintain a records system. (FO/C)
8. In consultation with the appointed fire safety contractor, to assist in the inspection/maintenance of fire safety equipment and fire safety checks and to ensure that all buildings and offices of the BLT and CTC have appropriate fire safety risk assessments. (FO)
9. To provide support relating to legislative requirements in relation to Health and Safety in the work place, including evacuation procedures, appropriate and up-to-date signage and equipment in all buildings, including First Aid boxes. (FO)
10. To be responsible for setting up and clearing away meetings and regularly check that all meeting and facilities are clean and stocked. (C)
11. Key holder and out of office hours point of contact. (C)
12. To ensure that all facilities are kept tidy with regular monitoring of storage areas including disposal of items no longer required. (C)
13. To be responsible for organising waste and recycling collections. (C)
14. To liaise with office administration and finance in respect of facilities related orders and invoicing. (FO)

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 15 per week

**Salary**: £22,129.00-£26,446.00 per year
