North Kent College (including Hadlow College) is proudly rated as an Ofsted ‘Good’ provider, with ‘Outstanding’ learner behaviours and attitudes (April 2024). With four campuses across Kent and 4,000 students, we strive to equip the young people who study here with an inclusive and innovative education experience to enhance their future career prospects, which, as noted by Ofsted, is supported through our high-quality, industry standard facilities. Each and every staff member plays a key part in delivering the success of our learners’ experience, and we want those who join our curriculum and support teams to share our passion in achieving this.
We have an opportunity at our Dartford campus for an experienced administrator to work within the Additional Learning Support department who, ideally, will have a good level of understanding of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP) and/or exam access arrangement processes. However, we welcome all applicants who have a passion in supporting young people to overcome barriers to achieve to their fullest potential and who enjoy working as part of a team.
In addition, the role will also include general administrative duties such as data management, ordering resources, updating and monitoring of information, liaising with visiting professionals and contacting students and their families, as required. To be successful in this role you will be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products, experienced in processing data quickly and accurately and have a methodical and organised approach to your work. You’ll also have excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines and statutory timescales whilst maintaining a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
