We are recruiting Housekeepers for a Wakefield based NHS client. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals to work in an environment which has patient safety and care at the very heart of its working practices.

The aim of the role is to provide a clean and safe environment for patients, staff and visitors and to contribute to preventing and reducing the spread of Healthcare Associated Infections (HCAIs).

As part of the role, you will:

- Maintain a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness, as defined within the National Specification of Cleanliness.
- Clean patient areas to a high standard (Ward based).
- Clean medical equipment not attached to patients.
- Take meal orders using an electronic device and serve meals to patients.
- Make and serve hot drinks to patients.
- Demonstrate compliance with policies and procedures.

**Working days: Monday to Friday**

**Shift times:16:00 - 23:00**

**Total hours: 32.5 hours per week**

Duration will be until circa end of March 2023 initially with the view of extension.
