**Job description**:

- The Delivery Continuity Team (DCT) conduct strategic analysis and review of future requirements in DIO to develop delivery options. The team lead in developing strategic solutions and work with Commercial colleagues to convert strategy into effective and efficient enabling contracts, for facilities management and other estate services. DCT identify the scope for wider support across DIO business to help enable effective operating capability.**Person specification**:

- Support the development, design and build of sophisticated Hard and Soft Facilities Management (FM) cost models.
- Maintain and use historical FM cost data for benchmarking, cost planning, whole life costing, life cycle replacement purposes and for estimating for minor and major capital works.
- Support the preparation of cost estimates for Hard and Soft FM services; developing and maintaining assumptions and bases of the estimates for should-cost models (used for affordability and budgeting purposes).
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop pricing documentation for tenders and assist with the evaluation of bidders’ pricing including the negotiation and agreement of prices for Hard and Soft Facilities Management (FM) and Capital Projects.
- Support the team in the production, verification and validation of cost models.

**Desirable Skills & Experience**
- Good experience of Excel and working towards MRICS.

**Qualifications**:

- HND or equivalent in Quantity Surveying**Behaviours**:
