Job Description

Archers Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team in a clean room manufacturing environment. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes, maintaining high-quality standards, and driving efficiency improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and lead a team of production staff to ensure a harmonious and efficient production environment.
  • Quality Management: Inspect and measure parts and products to verify conformance to specifications and support the introduction of quality initiatives.
  • Production Planning: Coordinate and communicate daily production processes to ensure production schedules are met, analyze work orders to estimate worker hours, and complete relevant work order details as required.
  • Inventory Management: Identify and requisition raw materials, sub-assembled stock, and supplies required for production schedules.
  • Process Improvement: Develop and recommend changes in work practices and manual and automated processes to increase efficiency, and work with the production manager to establish labor standards and routings for the clean room and component storage area.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 3-5 years' experience in clean room manufacturing with supervisory experience.
  • Education: A good level of education and experience in GMP manufacture.
  • Skills: Analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, customer focus, strong interpersonal skills, conflict resolution, teamwork, strong oral and written communication, managing diverse ranges of people, quality management, cost consciousness, strong work ethic, ethical judgment, reasoning, and decision-making ability, planning, organizing, and prioritizing, attention to detail.
Desirable Skills:
  • EHS Awareness: EHS awareness/qualification, NEBOSH diploma.
  • Desire to Succeed: Desire to succeed and drive efficiencies, motivational skills/experience within a team environment, driving culture change, collaboration, and teamwork, SMED training and implementation.
