**About Us**
At the Canal & River Trust we care about our customer experience. As a busy, small, in-house recruitment team we are growing to ensure that we provide a great experience too for applicants, hiring managers, and our third party providers.
Reporting directly to the Recruitment & Resourcing Manager, and working alongside a small flexible team of Recruitment Specialists and Administrators, you will also become part of our wider HR Team.
**Location**
Whilst the role is based working from home the team meet regularly at our Leeds city centre hub for team meetings and collaboration days, therefore travel to Leeds 2-3 times per month, or more if required, is essential.
**About the role and you**
**Responsibilities**:
- Team in-box management - provide a positive and welcoming first point of contact - ensuring a quick response and appropriate direction of enquiry.
- Respond to/direct incoming requests for guidance, advice and information to ensure the delivery of high standards of customer service.
- Provide guidance and information to customers that is appropriate, accurate and fully consistent with the Trust‘s HR Policies accepted best practice and legal requirements.
- Support through your work the Trust's inclusive Recruitment Strategy to reach, attract and retain a truly representative workforce.
- Maintain a good understanding of the Trusts systems, policies and processes to ensure the provision of relevant and accurate information.
- Follow the Recruitment Team systems, processes and procedures for the delivery of information and advice to ensure the maintenance of high standards of service quality and legal compliance.
- Update, maintain & manage Applicant Tracking System where required.
- Maintain various activity tracking systems and support data input for team reports.
- Take an active role in improvement projects, continually seeking to improve process and systems based on customer/client feedback and experience.
Manage administration in relation to Offers, Onboarding, Reference checks, Right to Work & DBS checks.
- Manage personal data in accordance with GDPR practices and requirements
- Post adverts on external vacancy portals.
**About you**
We are looking for our new team member to be highly organised, numerate, and confident using MS Word, MS Excel & MS Teams. Interest in social media platforms and a technical aptitude are also important as recruitment technology and tools continue to develop.

You may have previous experience in a busy HR function or have prior experience as recruitment coordinator, recruitment administrator, agency recruitment admin, training administration or events planning environment. **What We Offer**
