**An excellent opportunity for an experienced Pump Service Engineer to join a well-established company based in Hemel Hempstead.**

**About The Company**:
Established for over 20 years specialising in the manufacture, project design, sale, commission, service and repair of pumped drainage solutions. Over the last few years their business has been expanding rapidly due to new contracts and will be continuingexpansion in coming years.

From their headquarters in Hemel Hempstead in Hertfordshire they offer nationwide coverage for the supply and maintenance of their products.

**About The Role**:

- Perform general electrical and mechanical engineering duties to ensure that the pump systems are operating as specified.
- Carry out maintenance, repairs, commissioning and installations of the pump stations and associated equipment.
- Travel nationwide to client sites.

**Main Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Work on client sites performing general electrical and mechanical engineering duties to ensure that pump systems are operating as specified.
- Carry out maintenance, repairs, commissioning and installations of our pump stations and associated equipment.
- Participate in Emergency Call-Out Rota.
- Work with grey water and effluent systems and work within confined spaces.
- Communicate effectively with the service team, providing reports and photos of pumps and associated equipment, with the use of a PDA and mobile phone.
- Provide positive and helpful disposition and professionally communicate with customers.
- Work independently or as a member of a team.
- Proven experience of working with grey water and effluent systems/ submersible pumping stations.
- Mechanical and Electrical skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Good mechanical and electrical skills.
- The ability to work remotely.
- Flexibility to work on Emergency Call-Out Rota, every 6 weeks for one week, Friday to Friday.
- Mature communication skills.
- The ability to deal professionally with customers.
- Constructive interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work independently or as a member of a team.
- A positive personality and helpful disposition.
- Flexible approach.
- Trustworthy, honest and have integrity.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations Qualification would be highly advantageous.

Hours and overtime structure: Contracted hours are 8am to 5.30pm, with a half hour unpaid lunch. Overtime is calculated weekly and starts once 47.5 hours are completed. Hours are full door to door, no penalty for travel time. 1.5 time during the week upto 10pm, and all day Saturday. Double time 10pm to 6am, and all day Sunday. Bank holidays are double time with a day in lieu.

In return the company is offering a Competitive Salary of £25,000 - £37,000 per annum - Varies based on experience.
