Due to internal promotion a new position has been created within the finance team. It’s a great time to join our industry and company having recently been awarded the Queens Award for Enterprise and been involved with many exciting projects across all of Scotland.

**Job summary**

**Responsibilities**

Main responsibilities may include (but not limited to):

- Process invoices and matching to PO's and delivery notes.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies.
- Reconcile company credit card and paypal account.
- Posting of petty cash receipts
- Review and posting of company expense claims
- Prepare payment runs for approval.
- Communicate with suppliers regarding invoice and payment-related queries.
- Maintain organised and up-to-date financial records
- Day to day financial administration function including shared mailbox and phone calls

**Requirements**:
Essential:
Knowledge of accounts payable processes and procedures

Proficiency in data entry and working with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero or Sage

Excellent IT skills and competent user of Microsoft Excel

Strong attention to detail and accuracy with financial reporting

Desirable:
Xero certified or competent user

Knowledge of SimPRO (our job management system)
