The World’s Online Festival (or WOLF for short) is a fast-growing community-oriented platform dedicated to bringing the magic of real-world festivals to the online world - uniting people across the globe in discovery, entertainment and belonging. WOLF isa space for freedom and creativity in your online life—whether that’s participating in live shows, chatting, or discovering talent - all wrapped up in a fun community.

The Role

We’re looking to build a Virtual Reality version of our World’s Online Festival experience. We have a unique and ambitious vision to deliver a metaverse experience in which users can co-create shows on virtual stages, enjoy such shows interactively as audiencemembers, socialising in a vibrant and creative digital festival environment.

Your key responsibilities:

- Developing clean and maintainable c# code within unity
- Writing Unit Tests to effectively test the code you write
- Accurately estimating and delivering tasks within an agreed upon time frame

What we are looking for a Unity Developer;
- 3+ years experience of developing within the Unity game engine
- Strong experience of C#
- Strong understanding of good programming practices
- Ability to write clean and maintainable code.
- Self-starter who is able to take ownership of a feature or task and see it through to
- completion
- Able to communicate and coordinate across a number of teams
- Experience debugging and optimising code

Nice to haves;
- Experience developing and optimising for VR
- Knowledge of writing shaders for Unity or experience working with shader graph.

The VR Client is being built with Unity / C#, initially targeting the Oculus platform. The role will require collaboration with internal and/or external artists, crafting client-server game logic to make beautifully designed 3D environments come to life.
