The World’s Online Festival (or WOLF for short) is a fast-growing community-oriented platform dedicated to bringing the magic of real-world festivals to the online world - uniting people across the globe in discovery, entertainment and belonging. **The Role**

We’re looking to build a Virtual Reality version of our World’s Online Festival experience. We have a unique and ambitious vision to deliver a metaverse experience in which users can co-create shows on virtual stages, enjoy such shows interactively as audience members, socialising in a vibrant and creative digital festival environment.

Your key responsibilities:

- Optimising existing 3D environments for VR. Building new 3D environments based on concept ideas.
- Accurately estimating and delivering tasks within an agreed upon time frame

What we are looking for a Unity Developer;
- 3+ years creating Environmental Art in a professional capacity.
- Ability to use 3D modelling software tools e.g. Maya/MDS Max/Blender Experienced in using
- Unity game engine and the light baking tools it provides
- A solid understanding of lower poly environment creation
- Excellent modelling, lighting and texturing skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to take responsibility for a task and deliver within time constraints
- Self-starter who is able to take ownership of a 3D environment and see it through to completion

Nice to haves;
- Ability to create simple VFX for a 3D environment
- Knowledge of using Shader/VFX Graph within the Unity Game Engine
- An understanding of optimising models for virtual reality

The VR Client is being built with Unity / C#, initially targeting the Oculus platform. The role will require collaboration with internal and/or external artists, crafting client-server game logic to make beautifully designed 3D environments come to life.
