Ocado's Technology Operations mission focuses on the full programme and engineering management life cycle of our highly automated, multi-million pound grocery Customer Fulfilment Centres (CFCs).

We're instrumental in ensuring we deliver these CFCs on time, to budget, and to the specific requirements of each of our Solutions clients around the globe, as well as being dedicated to providing an outstanding centralised technical support service to these clients on an ongoing basis.

We have an opening for an accomplished Engineering Manager to join Technology Operations to lead our Support Engineering team within Global Central Engineering.

It's a complex and global department, so you'll bring some significant experience of people management, ideally having previously looked after teams with a diverse mixture of skill-sets and varying requirements and needs. You'll care for the ongoing development of your people, and will ensure that they are appropriately skilled and are able to deliver services in a timely manner with the expected speed and quality.

With overall accountability for the operation of our Centralised Support Engineering function, you'll also ensure that the technical and administrative support teams (both internal and outsourced) operate in an efficient and scalable manner, as well as meet their agreed SLAs.

You'll be an influential and respected leader who champions the strategy and agenda for the Support Engineering department. Proactively advertising your department's capability to support sites globally, you'll also drive alignment across all Technology Operations sites, and enhance collaboration between geographical regions, as well as Development and Services teams, to improve the delivery of new sites and implementation of new products.

**Your experience will include...**
- An experienced people manager of both skilled individual SME's and larger teams.
- Specific experience managing service and/or operational teams.
- Mentoring or managing others effectively and supporting their personal development.
- Ability to lead and direct your own and others work to achieve objectives.
