**Who we’re looking for, accountabilities and responsibilities**

You will be providing project leadership for People Services initiatives. Offering consultative advice, guidance and mentorship to the business, in order to support the business’s vision, mission, and overall objectives. You will maintain a clear and detailed knowledge of the legal requirements, industry trends and best practices related to the day-to-day management of employees within the business, reducing legal risks, guaranteeing regulatory compliance, and most importantly enabling employee satisfaction and retention.
- Take initiative and provide a coaching approach to the line management community, continually developing people management capability
- Lead on, and ensure proper communication and collaboration across the business on People Services initiatives, such as induction programs, DE&IB initiatives, employee engagement and employer branding to name a few
- Oversee and manage employee-relations issues, supporting formal appeals and hearings while simultaneously coaching relevant managers on people management best practices
- Coach the business’s departmental heads and management in performance management processes, compensation and remuneration programs, and employee engagement measures, creating a high-performance culture
- Assist in designing and delivering high impact solutions that meet the needs of the business, and collaborate with the L&D partner to ensure training needs analysis, talent management and succession programmes are in place within the business area
- Contribute to, and where accountable define policies and processes that support the HR strategy and objectives
- In collaboration with finance, assist in managing the monthly payroll process
- Analyse trends and metrics in order to develop and enhance solutions, processes, and programs that address current problems and mitigate future risks
- Prepare reports and proposals from data and findings, with confidence to present to People & Talent Director and the Senior Management Team, when required
- Maintain exceptional Partner relationships across the business by conducting regular meetings with the various business departments.

**A bit about you**:
**Qualifications**
- Preferred - Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business or any other related field.
- People management qualification such as CIPD Level 5, SPHR, and PHR with relevant experience

**Skills and Experience**
- Experience in a HR partnering capacity, ideally within a Small, Medium, Enterprise (SME), with a minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience
- Strong understanding and experience working with multiple human resource disciplines, e.g. employee relations, compensation practices, organisational diagnosis, performance management, staffing, and employment laws
- An excellent communicator who can help develop good HR practices with strong stakeholder management capability, to interact effectively with the appropriate management teams as well as the wider business
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to effectively work with HR systems and draw actionable insights from raw information and data
- Able to assess the performance of existing management programs and recommend changes where necessary
