London, United Kingdom Network Rail Full time

Associate Sponsor - 2 roles available - London - 35 hours (hybrid)

**Location**:
London, GB

**Department Name**:
SC Euston Redevelopment Programme (115610) G1

**About Network Rail**:
We're proud to be recognised by Glassdoor as one of the Top 50 Best Places to Work in 2021. To find out more about our people, visit - Our People.

Network Rail operates and maintains the railway infrastructure 24/7 365 days a year.

Our ambition to be responsive to passengers and freight users drives us every day and we’re empowered to do the right thing for those who use the rail network. We actively challenge unsafe practices and take responsibility for addressing risks, resolving issues and protecting safety and wellbeing.

We’re passionate about great service and we ask ourselves, what can we do to put our passengers and freight users at the centre of everything we do? With this in mind, we pull together as one industry because we care about people and teamwork is key.

This is an exciting time to join Network Rail. We’re passionate about great service and commit to our service equation vision by “putting passengers first”. Performance, safety and getting the fundamental basics right, is something we strive for as well as asking ourselves - what can we do to put our passengers and freight users at the centre of everything we do?

You will be part of the NW&C Region which consist of three routes:

- North West
- Central
- West Coast South - and a regional team supporting Regional Major Programmes & Professional services.

For us, ‘Diversity' means recognising differences between people while valuing the contribution they make. ‘Inclusion’ means creating safe and welcoming workplaces with fair cultures that encourage innovative and fresh ways of thinking.

**Brief Description**:

As an **Associate Sponsor**, you will lead aspects of the development and delivery of the proposed enhancement to the Network Rail station at Euston. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with Project Management or Development Management experience.

Euston is the sixth busiest station on the national network, the single biggest destination for passengers on the busiest mixed-traffic route in Europe, and the third most crowded London terminus. It already serves twice the number of passengers it was designed for when it opened in 1968. Forecast passenger growth, the construction of HS2’s station ‘next door’, and future changes to the mix of trains and passengers Euston serves will only add to its importance.

At the same time, becoming home to High-Speed services and significant commercial development opportunities will transform the Euston area for rail users and the businesses and communities it serves. We want our station to be at the heart of that regeneration.

Developing and ultimately delivering enhancements to our station at Euston is a key priority for Network Rail, now, during the remainder of CP6 and beyond. This role is essential to taking that forward and enabling Euston to be fit for an exciting future.
