**Job Title**: HR Recruitment Lead (Change & Improvement)

**Salary**: The starting salary is £57,301, which includes allowances totalling £2,841.

The salary is broken down as £54,460 basic salary, which will increase annually until you reach the top of the scale £66,356 Plus, a location allowance of £1,841 and a non-pensionable allowance of £1,000.

**Are you an experienced HR professional with experience in recruitment? Do you have a passion for continuous improvement? Are you equipped with the skills and experience to deliver change effectively?**

This is a new and exciting interim role dedicated to work within and alongside the Met’s internal recruitment team to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and to design and implement HR change projects to improve the user experience in our recruitment journey.

Reporting into the senior recruitment lead you will take responsibility for an end-to-end review of key recruitment processes resulting in the implementation of new or improved processes, systems and ways of working.

**Experience**
- Track record of delivering change projects or programmes to time and budget (utilising and maintaining appropriate project documentation); taking a proactive approach to ensure deliverables stay on track and barriers to delivery are resolved.
- Experience of reviewing recruitment/HR processes and services and making recommendations for improvement.
- Experience working as part of a recruitment function - as part of an internal recruitment function and/or delivery through an outsourced provider model.
- A record of being able to deliver specific outcomes and tangible results through HR interventions based on knowledge and insight of the business.
- Experience producing written briefs for decision from senior stakeholders, including management board (PowerPoint & Word).

- Highly developed project management skills with an ability to deliver at pace and to deadline.
- Effective verbal communication skills, demonstrating confidence to challenge current practices and develop new ideas, solutions and business cases - ensuring HR activities can be delivered with maximum benefit and are aligned to the organisation’ s wider strategy.
- Organisation awareness - demonstrating ability to assess and balance risk and innovation in trialling new ideas or translating insights into actions.
- Business partnering skills - ability to partner confidently with the business at the required level. Offers appropriate and considered challenge and designs around continuous improvement.
- Good relationship management skills and ability to work collaboratively with outsourced partners to deliver business-focussed solutions and services, and able to hold partners to account for high quality service delivery.
- Able to form a deep understanding of how things really work in an organisation and the barriers to change.

**Knowledge**
- Good knowledge across recruitment/selection practices and appropriately compiling resourcing insights and identifying areas for continuous improvement.
- An understanding of the key organisational commercial and value drivers and the link to people related plans and solutions.
