Busy Bee Recruitment are currently assisting with the recruitment of a **Teacher of Science**for their special education client based in Reading.

Your main duties as a Teacher of English will be to provide students with a broad and balanced education ensuring the environment is always calm and safe to ensure the children’s learning progression. We are seeking a creative and inspirational teacher whounderstands how to engage and motive children and young adults who struggle with a range of learning disabilities.

Duties of a Teacher of English:

- Planning and preparing lessons.
- Encouraging student participation.
- To monitor the quality of SEND support by establishing effective systems to identity and meet the needs of students, white ensuring that the systems are coordinated evaluated and regularly reviewed.
- Track progress and the achievements of the children
- Work with pupils, other work professionals and teaching staff to ensure realistic expectations of behaviour and achievements are set.
- Contribute to the school’s development plan.
- To communicate with parents and families of the pupils.
- Build strong and trusting relationships with the pupils, their families, and your colleagues.

**Requirements**:

- QTS qualification
- Specialist knowledge of the English curriculum
- A good understanding of safeguarding procedures
- Ability to get creative and be flexible.
- Kind and patient personality
- Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
- Good time management skills
- A passion for working and learning with children.
