**HR ADMINISTRATOR**

Ultimately, you should be able to ensure our HR department supports our employees while remaining compliant with the law.

**Main duties**:

- Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
- Coordinate new hire orientations and manage in the onboarding process.
- Prepare HR documents, like employment contracts, offer letters, reference and right to work checks.
- Organise and maintain staff personnel records.
- Be the first point of contact for queries coming into the HR department.
- Update & maintain internal data (e.g. record sick or maternity leave, absences, etc)
- Answer employee queries about HR-related issues.
- Assist payroll department by providing relevant employee information (e.g. leaves of absence, sick days and work schedules)
- Administer performance management program by monitoring employee appraisals
- Handle all employee queries, written or verbal with the utmost confidentiality.
- Escalating issues to Managers/Directors where required.
- Follow company employee variation standard operating procedure to ensure all changes are recorded and followed through accurately.
- Follow company offboarding standard operating procedure. Including completing exit interviews and managing return of company property.
- Maintain and update training records and evidence, e.g., certificates of mandatory training
- Assisting with ad-hoc projects as required.
- Previously experienced in an administrative role, preferably in a busy human resources department.
- Able to communicate to people of all levels.
- Strong interpersonal skills with an assertive communication style.
- Strong with data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and capable working with spreadsheets.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Able to maintain confidential and handle sensitive information appropriately.
- Knowledge of HR laws and regulations is a plus.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: From £15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 30 per week
