We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated and fully committed Health Care Assistants to join our friendly team on our busy inpatient ward at Helston Community Hospital.

**Main duties of the job**:
Under the supervision of a registered nurse you will contribute to the optimum delivery of patient care by assisting all clinical staff to deliver care in a manner sensitive to the individual client’s needs and wishes, whilst acknowledging and respecting their rights and beliefs at all times.

You must possess excellent communication skills, be a team player and have a genuine interest in the care of elderly patients.

Shifts are long days from 7:30am - 8:30pm over a 7-day service (ie includes weekends and Bank Holidays).

Approximately 568,000 people live here. A third of people who live in Cornwall are supported by acute hospital services in Devon. As a result, we also work closely with our partners in Devon. In the summer, and during other holidays lots of people choose to visit the area. This increases the numbers of people who use our services.
