We are currently looking to recruit a Warehouse Supervisor for our successful, growing transport and distribution client on the outskirts of Derby. They pride themselves for commitment, growth and diversity within their employees and relationships.

The main purpose of the role is to manage stores personnel and clarify roles and responsibilities of team members, whilst ensuring a safe and fair working environment.

**To be considered for the role, you’ll require the following essentials**:

- The ability to deliver excellent management skills across the team.
- Be approachable with good interactive and communication skills.
- Ideally hold a FLT Licence (Counterbalance and Reach)
- Have a strong knowledge of the warehouse management system and Microsoft Word/ Excel.
- Work with a positive attitude and the aim to succeed within the role.

**Within this position, you’ll also be**:

- Work alongside the stores personnel and measure, control & improve the performance whislt ensuring KPI’s are met.
- Understand and ensure that all Health & safety and quality procedures are in place and followed.
- Encourage and promote the training that can be offered internally, whilst also offering first day inductions.
- Ensure that procedures are in place at the end of the day with a sufficient handover.
- Track overall employee attendance for the operation and understand results' impact on Site Performance.
- Ensure that any queries or complaints are dealt with in a quick effective manner.
- Understand the root causes of performance results and set actions with Team and Line Manager for improving the results.

**Salary & Working Hours**
- Salary is £28,424
- 4 on 4 off; Monday - Sunday. Must be flexible in approach to shift work, working hours are 06:00 - 18:00
