**Section 2 - Job Purpose**

To act as the conduit between Independent Domestic Violence Advisors and Drive Case Managers to ensure that risks posed to victims are assessed and information is shared in order to minimise that risk.

Contacting victims to conduct risk assessments, safety planning and referrals to IDVA and other services as appropriate.

To work within the multi-agency framework of DRIVE and MARRAC

**Section 3 - Main Responsibilities/Activities**

You will be the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for Drive Case managers - undertaking research of internal databases to establish if victim is currently being supported and linking case managers with the appropriate IDVA

Where victims are not currently being supported you will make contact to identify and assess the risks and needs using an evidence-based risk identification checklist, conduct bespoke safety planning and referrals into IDVA and other services as appropriate.

Support clients to understand the purpose of Drive and assist them in recognising the features and dynamics of domestic abuse present in their situation.

You will be a key member of the perpetrator panel. You will research and gather information to present the views of victims and the risks posed to them in order for risk to be managed and mitigated where possible. You will be responsible for disseminating information and actions to IDVA’s.

When victims are stepped down from IDVA support you will be responsible for regular contact at agreed timeframes for continuous review of risk and any emerging needs, assisting them in accessing appropriate services.

Develop and maintain effective working relationships and collaborative working with local partnerships, other agencies and participating in events to promote the service.

Utilising a bespoke case management system to maintain accurate and confidential case management records and contribute to monitoring information for the service including evidence for the Respect accreditation.

Comply with data protection legislation, confidentiality and information sharing policy and procedures, as well as all legislation connected to your work

Remain up-to-date and comply with organisational procedures, policies and professional codes of conduct to uphold standards of best practice

Understand the legal framework relating to the protection of children and vulnerable adults, including internal safeguarding policies and the policy and procedures of the Local Safeguarding Children’s Board
