Fabric Inspector

Marton Mills is a family owned and managed weaving mill based in Pool-in-Wharfedale near Leeds. A position is available for a fabric inspector.

**DESCRIPTION**:
Work closely with Production and Quality Control to ensure quality issues are managed efficiently and effectively.

**KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
To inspect various compositions of fabric and recognise faults.

To ensure non-conforming fabric is accurately tagged. To make decisions on the most appropriate solutions and ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner.

To compile and maintain accurate records to help identify issues and implement improvements where required and ensure feedback to internal teams

Effective communication in both written and verbal form.

To maintain a safe working environment whilst following all relevant procedures and maintain a high standard of housekeeping.

To maintain a clean and tidy production area to ensure fabric is not contaminated.

**KEY SKILLS NECESSARY**:

- Ability to work on your own or as part of a team
- Manual role, ability to use manual handling techniques correctly
- Good eye for detail
- IT experience
- Good basic maths
- Positive attitude

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract, Permanent

**Salary**: £10.42-£12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 per week
