Achievio is a brand-new Tuition and Education Centre based in Melksham offering individual and group tuition to children from 4-18 years of age. We are seeking to appoint Tutors to work in our Centre.

We offer a range of tutoring services including individual, small group and pre-planned courses. During the school, day we run sessions for home educated children and will be working with schools as an Alternative Provision provider, offering sessions to children who need an alternative to school. Outside of the school day and during school holidays, we provide bespoke 1 to 1 and small group tutoring to children from 4-18 years of age as well as pre-planned courses. We are also developing our STEM offer and aim to expand the range and type of services we provide in this area; we currently offer Lego Spike, Lego BricQ, Sphero Indi and Sphero Bolt.

Key Responsibilities:

- To plan and deliver tutoring sessions to individuals and/or small groups
- Monitor and ensure the safety of children within the centre at all times
- Track progress and provide regular updates to parents/carers
- Maintain a clean, inviting, and secure learning environment
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching methods and expand services

We would like to hear from you if you:

- Are a qualified teacher or have experience of tutoring
- Enjoy working with children and can develop positive, professional relationships with them
- Have experience of supporting children with their learning and are able to make learning engaging in an individual and/or small group setting
- Have experience of working with SEND children, including those with EHCPs
- Have strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
- Are reliable, enthusiastic and self-motivated
- Have the Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate effectively with colleagues
- Have a positive, patient, and enthusiastic attitude towards teaching and learning
- Are committed to giving all children the opportunity and support to be successful
- Have a flexible schedule to accommodate variable tutoring hours
- Are willing to undertake training as and when required
- Are committed to safeguarding and promoting child welfare

Start date: asap

Pay: £25-£30 per hour depending on qualifications, experience and level of responsibility

Closing date: 12 noon, Wednesday 30th August 2023

**Job Types**: Part-time, Zero hours contract
Part-time hours: 0-15 per week

**Salary**: £25.00-£30.00 per hour
