- **What will you do & what will you need**_

Leading the way for best practise regarding safety and ensuring your team understands the importance of being safe in the workplace at all times. Delegating tasks, and dealing with day-to-day staffing issues as necessary, to ensure adequate staffing and performance levels are maintained so the depot runs smoothly and service requirements are met. Ensuring that all HACCP measures are implemented and controlled and working collaboratively with all internal and external stakeholders in order to gather feedback and key information to enhance operational performance and proactively identify and mitigate any current or future potential issues.

You are required to have good organisational skills, be adaptable to learning styles, build rapport leading to trust and strong relationships at all levels with commitment to understanding, anticipating and respecting the needs of others.

Gist **Spalding** is the largest site within Gist’s Temperature Controlled Logistics site network, which manages the transportation of food products from the manufacturer into the retail network. A significant proportion of our Temperature Controlled Logistics network requires temperature control. The site opened in 1992 and services approximately 95 individual suppliers. With up to 200 loads per day and in-bound product from across the UK and the Netherlands, Gist Spalding is one of the busiest transport operations in our site network.

Pay: £29,500.00 per year

Schedule:

- 12 hour shift
- Day shift
