**About the role**

As a **Warehouse Coordinator** in our Value Added Service you will be responsible for supporting the value added Pick/Pack operation including responsibility for supervising part of the operation on a daily basis. You will be part of a dedicated team of warehouse operatives within the Gist business.
- Our _**Spalding**_ _site is one of the largest in our Temperature Controlled Distribution network, working alongside a number of the UK's leading food manufacturers as well as end retailers._

**Salary**

£26,000 (day shift)

£26,000 + £3,477.96 (night shift

**Shift**:

- 4 on 4 (12 hours) - **Days - 06:00 - 18:00** Nights - 18:00 - 06:00

**What you’ll be doing**
- Liaise with customers confirming daily orders and queries
- Check inbound stock deliveries from suppliers
- Create pre-advices, stock reports and complete traceability tests when requested
- Complete regular stock checks
- Oversee picking, decanting and allocate jobs to staff
- Regular stock rotation to ensure correct dated stock is picked
- Provide a thorough handover to end of shift
- Delivering the involve agenda through effective leadership
- SHEQ (Safety Health Environment Quality)

**What you’ll need**
- Structured leadership style enabling the team around you to be the very best they can be
- The ability to identify and evaluate potential risks and where possible develop solutions to mitigate these
- Contribute to the implementation of new ways to improve performance Service
- Good communication skills
- Team player attitude, able to recognise and lend a hand where necessary
- A strong understanding of Health and Safety compliance.
- Good relationship building skills
- A flexible approach to your hours and duties
