Since the early days, we’ve grown to provide many innovative and bespoke care services to thousands of people across England and Scotland. We want to provide support based on the principles of choice, dignity and respect. This resonates in our vision of
**‘Your Life, Your Choice’** and our strategy
**‘Best Lives Possible’.**

We have strong values and we’re proud to pioneer new ways of delivering social care to stand out in our sector. In the past two years, we have won or made the shortlist for over 100 national and regional awards

We are also focused on our people. Our Support Workers are dedicated and passionate about going ‘the extra mile’ for the people we support and in return, we go the extra mile for them by
**investing in pay, recognition, wellbeing and continued professional and personal development.** We will provide you with all the training, support and personal protective equipment you need in your role and will help you develop, should you decide you want to develop your career with us.

**Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role**:
**Windsor Drive - Meet the People**
- We are aged between 40 and 70.
- We all have Mental Health problems and various Health conditions, but we are very independent and most of our support is done with prompting around daily tasks to support us to manage things for ourselves.
- We have a long-standing amazing staff team who work in some very challenging situations, but they all know us really well and we get the support we need to manage these. Our staff are fully trained to meet our ever-changing needs.

**What is important to us**
- We enjoy our independence and prefer staff to be hands off.
- We all like a varying number of activities such as football, going out in the local community, music and social media
- We have all came from varying backgrounds but most of us were in long stay hospitals before we moved into Windsor Drive, we all want to maintain our Independence and some of us work with staff to increase our skills in various areas, with the hope of moving on to live in our own homes in the community.
- We would not enjoy spending time with people who are bossy, pushy, running around, shouting or very noisy as it would tend to make a few of us upset.

**Our Home**
- There are 3 Bungalows here at Windsor Drive
- 4 people live in each bungalow with shared facilities.
- We have a huge back garden space with shared access for BBQ space etc.
- We share our lounge, kitchen, bathroom, conservatory, and laundry areas.
- Our Neighbours are very friendly.

We have 3 staff parking areas at the front of the property this is marked with a private property sign as the bungalows belong to Community Integrated care.

**Your values**:
We know it takes a special person to work in social care and we recognise that not everyone that would be perfect for the role, will have professional experience. This is why
**we're really passionate about recruiting to individuals’ values **and
**we recruit people from all walks of life**; From people with vast experience in a support worker or care assistant role, from people with lived experiences who may have friends or relatives with disabilities or have looked after older relatives, to people with no experience at all.

Naturally it is important too that you share our company values - We Include; We Deliver; We Aspire; We Respect; We Enable, which are at the heart of everything we do and ensure that we deliver high quality, consistent care and support. People's values are important to use, so we look for people with:

- Patience
- Empathy, compassion and sensitivity to others
- A strong work ethic
- Reliability
- Honesty
- Determination
- A problem solver
- Resilience
