We are looking to welcome Store assistants to join our amazing team here at IKEA Reading.
Expected Starting Date: 9th of March 2024
WHAT WE OFFER
- £11.45 basic hourly rate
- Living Wage Foundation Employer
12 and 24hr contracts working a combination of day, evenings and weekends in our customer service department.
16 and 20 contracts contract working a combination of evening and weekends in our sales departments.
All part time roles will receive every 4th weekend off.
Interviews for these roles will take place on the 20th and 21st of February.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE

SALES
- Build loyalty by listening to our customers & using your knowledge of IKEA product range offer informed solutions.
- You keep your area of responsibility clean, tidy, priced and fully stocked, and ensure that the IKEA basic merchandising standards are in place at all times to give customers a positive shopping experience
- You actively approach customers to identify their needs and advise them on the best solutions for their life at home through home furnishings.
CUSTOMER RELATIONS
You aim to create a positive experience for our customers, so they will want to return and shop with us again over time. Provide an efficient and accurate checkout experience in the store while working with daily and weekly service targets to drive service delivery. You work together with colleagues in other functions to improve the customer experience.
