**Fleet Compliance Advisor**

**Working Pattern: 37 hrs per week - Monday to Friday**

**Location: Bilsthorpe, Nottinghamshire**

Via is currently looking for a Fleet Compliance Advisor to join our Fleet Services Team based at our Head Office in Bilsthorpe, Nottinghamshire.

You will work as part of the Fleet Management team to audit, monitor and report on vehicle and plant operations and maintenance across the company.

**The Job**

Key areas of responsibility will include:
- As specified by the DVLA, carry out compliance monitoring to protect the Via, NCC and Inspire

Operator Licence’s and demonstrate full and effective control to protect the licence’s.
- Prepare preventative maintenance schedules for the service vehicles, monitor delivery and report on failings.
- Monitor and update vehicle management, insurance, and compliance software, ensuring information is circulated to relevant managers.
- Lead commissioning and decommissioning of vehicles and plant.
- Provide, arrange and co-ordinate internal, external and specialist training and briefings.
- Liaise with internal and external vehicle and plant users to identify vehicle/plant requirements and compile specifications.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health safety and environmental legislation and procedures.
- Monitor and report on the condition and suitability of vehicles and plant, undertake random inspections and report findings.

**The Person**

Mainly you will be excited to be a part of our Fleet Services team, but there are just a few other things we’d like from you:
- Formal training in motor vehicle engineering, maintenance, and technology.
- Certificate of Professional Competence (National, PSV or International)
- Experience of Goods/passenger Vehicle Operator Licencing requirements. Knowledge of Fleet Maintenance/Management, Health & Safety and Training regulations
- Experience of the operation, repair, maintenance, and testing of a wide range of vehicles and plant in a large fleet environment.
- Experience in the operation and use of fleet management packages, IT, and telematics.
- Experience within the transport and/or VOSA areas of compliance operations.
- Category C or D1 Driving Licence.

**Salary**: £32,000.00-£37,000.00 per year
