Inside Sales Executive Team Lead

Morson Talent are delighted to be working with an industry leading Logistics company who require an Inside Sales Executive to join their existing Sales and Service Team. This role is instrumental in leading, coaching and developing a skilled team whose keypurpose is to develop mutually beneficial new business into sustainable and profitablecustomers. In addition to the supervision of the inside sales team, the Senior Inside Sales Executive will have direct responsibility for key target customers in both theUK and the Republic of Ireland. You will work closely with the Campaign and Field Sales teams to qualify potential new business leads and own them through to first order.
You will be contributing and shaping sales campaigns to generate yours and the wider team’s leads and opportunities, or as we call our ‘Sales Funnel’.
Sales executives are expected to meet and exceed their inbound and outbound sales targets, and gleaning the organisation with a thorough understanding of the customer’s business, their decision makers and logístical process
Key Job description
- Responsible to coach, lead and develop direct reports with a view to creating experts in the new business function
- Ownership of ongoing re-design and improvement initiatives on end-to-end process for new business, from first point of contact to successful onboarding as a new customer until first order
- Continuous improvement initiatives cover internal and external processes that impact the customer experience of becoming a new customer
- As an owner of the win back pipeline for the UKI (excluding household names). Acting as a central point of contact and knowledge for why we lost, when we lost and what we can do to entice back in line with the UKI vision.
- Working across the wider commercial team (covering new business, existing accounts (regional office and field) to target specific winback opportunities
- Convert sales and growth opportunities in line with team/individual targets
- Research and develop understanding of new sectors to assist in the development of future sector campaigns
- Conduct proactive outbound calls and campaigns to drive growth agenda
- Complete end to end customer OnBoarding process
- Delivering budgeted team and individual Sales Revenue
- Complete customer onboarding before handing over to the office-based Account Management team
- Treble the value of new business wins by the end of FY23
- Responsible for the key KPI’s for the Inside sales team including monthly updates with the head of business development
