It also supplies the UK private label yogurt market from a dedicated, state of the art yogurt facility.

**Responsibilities will include but not limited to the following**:

- Ownership of the local operational transport plans and site review process to measure and track the efficiencies of the outbound routes for respective multiple operations
- Effective daily execution of plan through the AS400 system and regular tactical reviews through Ortec
- Create transparent and effective daily and weekly reporting tools to allow visibility of cost per trip
- Constant assessment and challenge on underutilised resources through operation and commercial channels
- Costing of drops and customers to support understating of delivery efficiencies
- Close working relationship with operational teams, despatch stakeholders and drivers to ensure alignment into transport plans
- Support SLM to establish clear link between planning and operational performance
- Weekly P&L reviews and attendance at site for MPR’s
- Provide site logistics managers and local operational teams with daily, weekly and monthly planning performance reports
- Support fleet team on future innovation initiatives to further generate primary efficiencies
- Link up with other planning colleagues to assess wider network opportunities and catchment area synergies

**Muller responsibilities**:

- Ensure we have robust KPI’s
- Review processes and take the lead on collaborative operational engagement to achieve the most efficient, cost effective solutions to delivery customer service requirements
- Generation of clear reports highlighting operational metric, trends, focus areas and opportunities to improve
- Utilise daily and tactical planning tools, operational understanding and relationships to generate forward thinking plans for service and cost improvement
- Ability to build effective relationships with operational colleagues to allow consistent feedback loop and refinement of plans

**Demonstratable skills, experience and knowledge within the following**:

- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in FMCG, logistics operational planning environment
- Transport background with proven track record of reducing cost base and improving service trough planning optimisation
- Experience and ability to use transport scheduling systems
- Knowledge of UK transport legislation and fleet types
- Presenting and communicating to various stakeholders within an operational environment and structure
- Organised and detail orientated
- Highly motivated
