As Operations and Activities Assistant you will help support international students to feel welcome and make a successful transition to life at Leeds. You will also help all students to benefit from being part of our global campus community. You will provide high quality administrative and operational support for our international welcome services, our team operations, and other activities such as the University Buddy Scheme and Intercultural Ambassadors Programme.

We are looking for an organised, proactive, customer-focussed individual who can relate to our diverse student community to be part of our team. You will be enthusiastic about supporting student education activity and be adaptable and flexible. You will need excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a high level of professionalism; with the ability to work collaboratively with staff and external partners and assist with the supervision of a team of student ambassadors. You will also need to be able to work under pressure and carry out tasks with competing deadlines.

The role will require flexibility at peak times including some out-of-hours activity.
