**Senior Direct Marketing Officer**:
We are looking for a passionate Senior Direct Marketing Officer to join our Individual Giving team at Samaritans. This role will create, manage and implement key campaigns and projects across the Individual Giving (IG) programme to recruit and retain supporters maximising loyalty and lifetime value.

- Full time (35 hours per week)
- c. £37,000 per annum
- Hybrid working - linked to Ewell (Surrey) office, with home and office working
- In-office working - at present, the team meet in the office 1-2 times per month

**Key Responsibilities**
- Manages direct marketing integrated campaigns across online and offline channels from project initiation, through segmentation, data/media specification, creative approach, production, fulfilment to results analysis, ensuring income and expenditure targets are met.
- Ensures all activity is run in line with best practice and compliance.
- Works with the Supporter Acquisition and Engagement Lead to develop and deliver the individual giving strategy for priority audiences.
- Undertake database analysis, to inform and improve the direct marketing programme.
- Develops and maintains an awareness of new direct marketing and fundraising initiatives and analyses their potential for Samaritans.
- Ongoing management of external suppliers and marketing agencies to ensure activity takes place on schedule and within budget.
- Monitors and reviews the performance of external agencies and suppliers.
- Involvement in the selection, briefing and appointment of alternative suppliers and agencies

**The Person**

You’ll have previous experience of direct marketing campaign management across a range of channels. You’ll be able to manage multiple projects and campaigns with excellent communication skills. You’ have experience of budgetary control and reporting against targets, alongside knowledge of managing suppliers and agencies.
