**Hours of Work: 37 hours per week. Monday - Thursday 8.30 - 5pm and Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm.**

**ROLE PURPOSE: The HSE Apprentice will be responsible for supporting the maintenance of the HSE Management systems, and associated activities, in line with corporate, internal, legal and international industry standards.**
- Adhere to, and promote, all required Health, Safety and Welfare policies that are established by the company.
- Support in maintaining the companies ISO 14001 (environmental) and ISO 45001 (Health and Safety) and ISO 50001 (Energy) approved management systems.
- Support with third party, and Hydro group site audits and inspections.
- Provide support and advice to team members on HSE and Management system issues.
- Conduct internal HSE audits and inspections of manufacturing processes and resolution tracking.
- Involvement in continual improvement initiatives in HSE Management with the ultimate aim of improved HSE performance.
- Develop and maintain procedures for HSE Management, supporting the planning and implementation process.
- Administration of computer and database systems, including maintenance of records and preparation of documents for issue.
- Support and participate in HSE activities, including risk identification and management.
- Promote IFE and WOC participation of employees and facilitate / seek for resolution.
- Participate in the local and corporate HSE meetings and asses local operations risks according to the cases communicated.
