We have an exciting opportunity available for an **Administration Support Apprentice** to join our friendly team in Berwick Upon Tweed, and to study towards a Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship. This is varied full time position, working Monday to Friday, 0800 to 1700 reporting into the Site Technical Manager.

Business administrators have a highly transferable set of knowledge, skills and behaviours that can be applied in all sectors. The role may involve working independently or as part of a team and will involve developing, maintaining and improving administrative services. The responsibilities of the role are to support and engage with different parts of the organisation and interact with internal or external customers. With a focus on adding value, the role of business administrator contributes to the efficiency of an organisation, through support of functional areas, working across teams and resolving issues as requested. The business administrator is expected to deliver their responsibilities efficiently and with integrity - showing a positive attitude. The role involves demonstrating strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and adopting a proactive approach to developing skills.

**About You**

The role would be ideally suited to an individual who is looking to undertake a workplace apprenticeship, which will be fully funded with a day per week dedicated to training.

You must be computer literate, have good attention to detail and have the ability to learn bespoke /in-house systems whilst having a strong understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. As the role can be fast paced and quite diverse, you must be able to work without supervision, meet tight deadlines, have good communication and telephone skills with a positive attitude to help others in the teams.

This role will involve you liaising with operational staff, customers and suppliers and being responsible for providing full admin support to the Berwick team.

**The Role - Key Responsibilities**
- Enter a high volume of data accurately and efficiently
- Assist with raising quotes and regulatory paperwork and invoices
- Ensuring financial information and spreadsheets are up to date
- Welcome and greet all visitors onto site ensuring all H&S/signing in and out procedures are adhered to

**- **Answer all incoming calls and direct through the correct recipient in a courteous and professional manner
- Co-ordinate and prepare rooms for meetings including organising the catering & refreshments from external catering company
- General duties including ordering stationary & office supplies, filing and booking hotels for guests
