**Job Details**
The Talent Crowd are recruiting for support workers to work in a private service based in Leyland.
You will be supporting vulnerable adults with various needs such as, Autism, learning disabilities, challenging behaviour, and complex needs.
**This role is a temporary to permanent full-time position which means you will be paid by The Talent Crowd for a period of 12 weeks which allows you to gain experience, learn new skillsets, complete specialist training before transferring over to theservice as a permanent employee.**You will work within a core team of staff who are experienced and knowledgeable about the care needs of the service users they support. To be successful in this role you must have empathy, the genuine desire to work in health care and the ability to work wellwithin a team and lone working.
Your daily tasks will include the following: supporting service users out in the community such as attending GP appointments, shopping, general trips out. Activities, providing emotional support, supporting service users with cooking, promoting complete independence,expectation to support, prompt and deliver personal care. Supporting service users that are on 2:1 or 1:1 observation, completing documentation, attending training to remain compliant.
Due to the service having a small number of service users you will have the opportunity to build a positive professional relationship and really have an opportunity to make a positive impact one someone’s life.
**Rate of Pay
- £10 - £13 per hour (+ Holiday pay allowance)**
**No experience necessary - Full training provided**
**Shift patterns available**
**Earlies** 07:30-13:30 (or 07:30 -1600)
**Lates** 1300-22:00 (or 16:00 - 22:00)
**Long Days** 07:30-22:00
**Nights** 22:00-07:30
