Bridge College is the Together Trust’s specialist education college for students aged 16 to 25 years with disabilities, complex needs and autism. Bridge College promotes a multidisciplinary approach to learning and has expertise in supporting students with a wide range of needs.

**Hours - **34.5 hours per week worked over 39 weeks per year (term time role)

**Starting salary - **£16,969.65 (salary already pro-rated to working weeks worked). The full time equivalent is £21,283.00 per annum.

**Location - **Bridge College, Openshaw, Manchester M11 2GR - A Together Trust service

**Key tasks within this role are**:
To provide support and guidance to the young people by removing barriers to their learning as well as supporting and facilitating changes and transitions along the journey of excellence.

Contributing to all relevant aspects of planning, recording and evidencing progression in individual learning plans.

Be an active participant in supporting the timetable in all it’s different contexts - assisting and supporting students within learning environments including swimming and hydrotherapy in the College’s purpose-built pool and other therapy and/or leisure facilities and on residential courses.

Maintaining records using Databridge and other college information and recording systems.

Complete assessments and records of students’ progress and achievement.

Contribute to planning and review processes including writing reports as required.

Liaising with families, carers and others as necessary and with regard for the confidentiality required by the college and the Together Trust.

Driving groups of students and staff when required and as appropriate using college and/or own vehicles.

**What can you bring to our students.?**

Do you have:
A good general education and good written English.

Level 2 in Literacy and Numeracy.

Experience of working with people who have learning disabilities and/or complex physical needs and/or autism.

Good communication skills and thrive being part of a team.

Experience of PROACT SCI Pror Positive Behaviour Management.

Ability to drive.
