2BM Recruitment Ltd are working in partnership with our manufacturing client in Deeside with an excellent opportunity for a Permanent Health & Safety / SHEQ Advisor to join an established organisation that has exciting growth plans offering career progression opportunities for the future.

As a SHEQ / Health & Safety Advisor within a manufacturing plant you will be a key member of the Health & Safety team responsible for maintaining and improving quality, health, safety, and environmental standards.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in maintaining QA and SHE functions to ISO9001, ISO14001 ISO45001 & EN1090 via external audits.
- Liaise with production and management teams ensuring that QHSE align with company products and services whist meeting customer expectations.
- Actively lead in accident and near miss investigations implementing preventative measures.
- Manage documentation updates for Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure safe and efficient production, in line with environmental standards.
- Deliver and track necessary training following amendments to Policies and Procedures.
- Provide inhouse training on a variety of SHE-QA related topics.
- Conduct Risk Assessments and ensure the site COSHH system is fully implemented.
- Support waste management processes and ensure waste is correctly labelled and collected.
- Monitor Contractor adherence to procedures.
- Administration and support towards ongoing health screening of the workforce including occupational health checks, vibration monitoring, prescription eyewear etc
- Maintain high quality records of all required elements of our EHSQ systems.
