**Senior Application Support Analyst**

**Peterborough/Hybrid/Remote**

**£50,000**
Coulter Elite Resourcing are currently looking for a Senior Application Support Analyst to work with one of their well-established and very successful clients based in Peterborough working as part of their IT team.

The Senior Application Support Analyst position can be offered on a fully remote or hybrid basis, depending on experience and on location.

**Principle Responsibilities for the Senior Application Support Analyst:

- **
- Using knowledge and experience of SQL database environments and supports services, will also provide product recommendations for improvements
- Support expedition of customer and product issues with the Development team
- Interface between support and Software Development staff
- Carrying out system maintenance, updates and monitoring of environment
- Deliver on agreed incident SLA's and ensure all the support issues are fully understood, managed, and resolved.
- Work closely with internal teams and 3rd party suppliers to improve system performance, reliability, and usability.
- Help identify opportunities to drive value and improve the performance of the existing and future software base.
- Directly impact the business by ensuring the quality of work provided by self and team

**Person specification:

- Strong analytical and data skills with the capability to generate SQL queries and evaluate data
- Good understanding of scripting languages and tools for automation
- Ability and willingness to adapt and learn new technologies and system support techniques
- Motivated and flexible individual who can work to deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Ability to work on own initiative as well as being part of an effective team
- Good customer facing service skills
- Effective communicator at all levels
- Excellent organisational skills
- Attention to detail

**This is a full time permanent Senior Application Support Analyst position,
Monday to Friday office hours.
Offering an annual salary of £50,000**
